Fit Friday - Salad Recipe

Happy Fit Friday to all my Friends & Family! Do you want a salad that is both nutritious, low calories, and energizing?! I have the perfect recipe for you:

Artisan Lettuce
Banana Peppers
Garbanzo Beans
Sunflower Seeds
Flax Seed
Black Olives
Cheese (feta or cheddar)
Croutons of your choice (homemade if possible)

Add Pure Olive Oil and Red Wine Vinegar – a little of each for a delicious and light dressing.

There you have it, a delicious and very nutritious salad!

I buy the Artisan Lettuce and it consists of three different types of lettuce. There are four heads of lettuce total and all you have to do is rinse and then chop it up. Also, the sealed container it comes in is really handy to store it and keeps longer than the average lettuce.
I love it! Oh, and it’s only $2.50 at our Wal-mart.. Not a bad price at all.

Want to use this salad as a fat burner by adding some Banana Peppers. Its been proven that peppers can burn calories and body “fat”.

Garbanzo Beans (a.k.a. Chickpeas are high in protein. They are also a great source of dietary fiber and also provide a substantial level of iron.

Let me know what you think after you try it! It delicious, I promise! :-)
