Creating a budget can be a highly involved project but I would highly encourage each and every one of you to set down and create your very own. It will be well worth your time and effort. I personally love crunching numbers and making all my finances line up and come out to the penny… but, that’s just me. I know everyone is not that way.

Setting up a budget can relieve a lot of stress, as well as, lead you to financial freedom. If you have goals and stick to them, you are much better off than just going along with the flow and spending the money you have, and making do on whatever you might or might not bring in that week.

This is for everyone; whether you are living pay check to pay check, or have money to spare. You should always keep track of how much money you are earning, spending, and saving, I see it as “the responsible thing to do”.

I will provide a step by step tutorial to help you start out so that you can make sure your money is going to the right places and of course, getting it there at the right time. There are many different levels of budgeting but to prevent you from becoming overwhelmed in this new feat, make sure you pick a budget spreadsheet on your level. That’s your homework for today. I just want you to “get started”, so pick a template that you can understand and be in control of. (see links below)
